This page explains how to delete data that Social Hampster holds about you or your connected social accounts.
Disconnecting a social account deletes its data immediately, and you can do that yourself at any time without contacting us.
What we hold
For each social account you connect, Social Hampster stores:
An access token issued by the social platform, which lets us refresh your feed
Cached content: posts, captions, images, video URLs, thumbnails, timestamps, permalinks, and engagement counts
Profile information for the connected account: username, display name, profile picture, bio, follower and post counts
Component analytics: impressions and clicks recorded for that connection
For your Social Hampster account we also store your name, email address, hashed password, plan and billing status, and the domains you have whitelisted.
We never store your social media password. Authorisation happens on the platform's own login screen.
Option 1 — Disconnect a social account
This is instant, self-serve, and needs no request to us. Do it from whichever is more convenient:
From the Social Hampster plugin in Framer
Open the Social Hampster plugin in your Framer project
Go to Connections
Select the account and choose Disconnect
From the web dashboard
Log in at app.socialhampster.com
Go to Connections
Select the account and choose Disconnect
What happens: everything listed above for that connection is deleted immediately. Tokens, cached posts and media, profile information, and all associated analytics including impression and click data. Nothing is held back in order to restore the connection later, so this cannot be undone. Residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 30 days.
Any Framer components pointing at that connection stop displaying content straight away.
Option 2 — Delete your entire Social Hampster account
To remove your account and all remaining personal information, email us.

The email address on your Social Hampster account
Confirmation that you want the full account deleted, not just one connection
We may ask you to verify your identity first. We complete account deletion and confirm it to you within 30 days. Billing records are retained only where tax and accounting law requires it.
Option 3 — You are the owner of a connected account, but not the customer
If someone else connected your social account on your behalf, for example an agency managing your website, you can ask us directly.
Subject: Data Deletion Request
Include the social account handle and the website where the feed appears. We may ask you to verify ownership of the social account before acting.
Also revoke access at the platform
Deleting your data with us removes what we hold. To also withdraw the permission itself at source, remove Social Hampster from the platform's own connected-apps settings:
Instagram — Settings → Apps and Websites → Active → Remove
Facebook — Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → Remove
Threads — managed through your linked Instagram account settings
YouTube / Google — myaccount.google.com/permissions
Dribbble — Account Settings → Applications → Revoke
Revoking at the platform stops any further access immediately. We recommend doing both.
